I demand they return Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a legal permanent resident since 2001 who was deported to El Salvador after living in the United States for over 35 years. Removing him from his family and community in Maryland, where he has built his life for decades, based solely on old non-violent offenses seems unjust and disproportionate. Our representatives need to stand up to our President and urge Garcia's safe return to be reunited with his loved ones, as deporting law-abiding long-term residents undermines faith in the immigration system's integrity.
