I am writing to demand action against the fascistic monster our federal government is becoming. Marco Rubio announced a highly illegal and morally reprehensible offer the United States received from El Salvador, wherein deported immigrants and american citizens would be housed in their prison systems. I should not have to explain why this is unacceptable and unbecoming of a country that calls itself the forefront of western freedom, democracy, and civilization. You, fellow working adults, should be able to understand the wide-reaching and dangerous effects of a choice like this. We all know world history, and we all know where this goes. Vulnerable populations across the United States live in fear — and your job as an elected official is to show up for ALL of them. I, a deeply concerned constituent demand immediate and urgent action from you, my elected officials, in the fight against fascism.
