You need to stand up and defend our elections from this administration's coordinated effort to delegitimize results it doesn't like. When Trump's endorsed candidates slipped to third place in California — five days after polls closed, as mail-in ballots were counted — he cried fraud without a shred of evidence. Now the DOJ has opened vague "election fraud investigations" in Los Angeles, sent a federal prosecutor to monitor vote counting, and issued executive orders to seize control of elections that courts have already struck down as unconstitutional.
This isn't about election integrity. The Brookings Institution found mail-in voting fraud occurs at a rate of 0.000043% — 4 votes per 10 million cast. California's system is transparent and audited: every mail-in ballot is checked by hand, and voters have 22 days to fix signature mismatches. Meanwhile, the same DOJ crying fraud has canceled all election integrity training, deleted its guide to prosecuting election offenses, and fired most of its Public Integrity Section lawyers.
The 2026 midterms are approaching, and the groundwork for contesting legitimate results is already being laid. Push back on federal overreach into state election administration, oppose the SAVE Act, and make clear that baseless fraud claims followed by DOJ intimidation tactics are an attack on democracy itself.
