No more data center construction in PA!

To: Sen. Comitta, Gov. Shapiro, Rep. Williams

From: A verified voter in Coatesville, PA

May 29

I am writing to register my absolute opposition to the construction of data centers in Pennsylvania. This technology is wasteful, both of natural resources and taxpayer dollars, and is an ill-considered choice for economic renewal. It is becoming increasingly clear that the voters do not want data center construction, and, unless the whole project is a gambit to increase community involvement in government (the turnout at local zoning meetings is impressive when a data center is on the agenda), data centers are a poor choice for an issue that garners enthusiastic political support. Speaking of enthusiastic political support, I am also writing to alert our governor to my waning support for him in his election campaign if he continues to champion data center construction in Pennsylvania.
