I write to you today not in anger, but with a HEAVY HEART and a prayerful plea. I believe your message about border security has been LOUD and CLEAR. Your actions have made your point. But now, I beg you—as a fellow Christian—please BRING BACK the 238 Venezuelan men sent to El Salvador.
We are called to be firm, yes—but also to be JUST and MERCIFUL. These men deserve DUE PROCESS. We must not abandon the values that make this nation strong: rule of law, human dignity, and our Christian faith. Sending people to inhumane prisons without a hearing is not the AMERICA I believe in, and I don’t believe it reflects the best in YOU either.
We are not asking you to open the floodgates. We are simply asking for fairness. For compassion. For a moment to let justice speak before judgment falls.
Many of us who once believed in your vision are now deeply AFRAID—not because we want open borders, but because we see cruelty where there should be righteousness.
Please, Mr. President—SHOW US that our Christian faith still means something in the highest office. Show us that you have the courage to be strong and good.
