Over the entire weekend the president repeatedly demonstrated erratic and dangerous behavior, showing the nation and the world that he has lost touch with reality. Today, he posted about Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner: “A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood…due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME…He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump.” This post compounds the concern. The President publicly insults the deceased, politicizes a tragedy, and labels dissent as a “mind crippling disease.” His behavior over the weekend and in this post demonstrates total erosion of mental health, obsessive fixation, and reckless judgment, making him a clear danger to the country, those around him, and potentially himself. I urge Congress to immediately investigate his fitness for office and take all appropriate measures to protect the nation.
