I urge you to investigate the role of major American oil companies in the recent illegal military intervention in Venezuela. It is highly probable that these corporations had advance knowledge of or influence over the plan to seize foreign oil reserves. I request that Congress exercise its subpoena power to compel testimony from oil executives regarding their communication with the W hite House. We must determine if private corporate interests are driving U.S. foreign policy and military aggression for their own financial gain. The U.S. military should never serve as a private security force for "Big Oil." Corporate accountability is a matter of national security. Please initiate a full inquiry into this military-industrial collusion and hold all complicit parties accountable immediately.
