Developing international cooperation is commendable, however, the proposed legislation risks greenwashing systematic violations against Palestinians by directing aid solely to Israel. Aiding one party while disregarding the oppressed enables the continuation of an ongoing genocide. True progress necessitates an equitable approach that empowers all communities, including Palestinians. Sustainable development cannot neglect those facing ethnic cleansing and systemic marginalization. An inclusive framework addressing the needs of all stakeholders in the region is vital to upholding human rights and achieving lasting peace.
