I'm writing to ask you to cosponsor and support Congresswoman Delia C. Ramirez's Reimagining Safety Act. This bill proposes to go beyond the just and necessary but not sufficient step of abolishing ICE and CBP, including creating a Department of Community Safety and limiting government surveillance. This is the kind of legislation our country needs to rise above the current moment.
