I'm asking you to fight for robust federal funding for HIV research. Decades of sustained investment have brought us from a death sentence to a manageable chronic condition for many — but we are not done. Cutting or stalling that funding now would be a serious step backward for the millions of Americans still living with HIV and the communities still at risk. A cure remains out of reach, and disparities in access to treatment persist across racial and economic lines. The science is moving — federal dollars need to keep pace with it. Please make HIV research funding a priority in any upcoming budget or appropriations decisions.
