I am writing to once again urge you not to accept any DHS funding bill or continuing resolution which contains funding for ICE. The president has weaponized ICE against those who would oppose him, and any money spent on the agency is spent working against the civil rights of both American citizens and immigrants of every legal status. A partial government shutdown is far and away preferable to funding a part of the government that does this kind of harm
