This so-called military parade this week is the dumbest thing any politician in DC has done in the entirety of my life! I have a PhD in political science, specializing in American Institutions, in particular, The Presidency and Congress. I literally fill semesters with stupid things Presidents and Congress members have done. And I’ve done this since 1996. LBJ, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush HW and W, Clinton, Obama, Trump 1 and Biden, bc they all do plenty of stupid things. But this military parade takes the cake. Ruining roads. Wasting resources! Wasting time. You all campaigned on finding waste. Well… it seems you are blind! Bc everyone I talk to cannot believe our government is this stupid and our Congress is trying to pass a budget that cuts aid to poor children. But you think it is OK to have a parade???? You are deranged to support this. If you aren’t speaking out on how wasteful this parade is, you are giving it your blessing.
