Every single Democrat and, frankly, every Republican who is not a puppet, should loudly defy and request Trump makes to extend his federal takeover of DC. There is no surge of crime happening in that city, except in the halls of government. Trumps federalizing the police force is yet another example of his monstrous overreach. Americans should be horrified, outraged, ashamed. If he gets no pushback on this, he will target other large blue cities including yours and mine, New York.
