The Israel government's continued military aggression against civilians in Gaza and Lebanon is unacceptable and a flagrant violation of international law. Israel forces have indiscriminately killed thousands of innocent civilians, including a disproportionate number of women and children, according to United Nations reports. This merciless slaughter constitutes war crimes and crimes against humanity that cannot be tolerated. There is a moral obligation to take concrete action to halt these atrocities. By continuing to provide military aid and arms sales to Israel, you are complicit in enabling their commission of grave violations against the gazan people. There is incontrovertible evidence that Israel forces are using weapons supplied by our country to perpetrate massacres and indiscriminate attacks on civilians. Mere condemnations are not enough - we must exert real pressure through an immediate and comprehensive arms embargo on Israel until they fully comply with international law, end their brutal occupation, and respect Palestinian human rights.
