The previous Administration left it to us, the voters, to fix at the ballot box the problems of DJT, MAGA, and Project 2025, their aims all explicit and spelled out ahead of the election. Whatever "domestic threat," "aid and comfort to a known enemy," and "treason" mean to Democratic lawmakers and to the leaders who were in Biden's DoJ and DoD, they didn't mean what we thought they meant, at least inasmuch as whether they were an imperative for our Federal Government to act according to the taxes we pay them and the oaths they take to protect our Constitution and us. And the Repu5blican lawmakers’ willingness or unwillingness to defy 47’s agenda are known - after all, some of them were among those who helped craft Project 2025 in the first place. And we did not do what even "the good guys" very apparently expected us to do at the ballot box: win. So our expectations of them now are something we must temper with the fact that the Convicted Felon escaped substantive sentencing, to include avoiding being removed from the ballot after his conviction, once he became President Elect. (Is nobody looking into Judge Merchan's reasoning on that? Felon 47 received his conviction before the election!) Our demands are ringing hollow. Our DoJ and DoD tax money - how have our leaders used THAT? Money is Free Speech, after all, and we somehow have to drown out the huge piles of Free Speech that our Corporations and the super-rich can lavish on buying the kinds of political outcomes they want. We need stronger legislation to make widespread swindling (taking advantage of the people; manipulation of large numbers of people) subject to stronger penalties, even if it's just for commercial benefit. It's still a danger. It's tactics taken from guerrilla warfare: propaganda and psychological/sociological operations. It's an attack on us. And it's for profit, not societal or environmental benefit.
