Here’s what you need to know: • Geier has no medical license—and was charged for impersonating a doctor. • He gave autistic kids hormone blockers like Lupron—a drug that shuts down puberty. • His work was based on the long-debunked theory that mercury in vaccines causes autism. • His father lost his license too. Their treatments were condemned as dangerous, unethical, and exploitative. • Maryland medical boards called their operation a “sham.” And yet—Trump gave him a federal role. Meanwhile, Trump has said that doctors giving gender-affirming care should face “severe consequences” and even “criminal penalties.” So let’s be clear: • Geier chemically altered kids’ development—and Trump rewarded him. • If EO 14187 is about protecting children from harmful hormone use, this appointment violates its own logic.
