The president’s unilateral bombing of Iran is unconstitutional, unjustified, and dangerous to Americans. Trump’s own Director of National Intelligence testified under oath that Iran is not close to building a nuclear weapon. The vast majority of your constituents do *not* want the US dragged into another endless conflict in the Middle East at enormous monetary and human cost. Please assert Congress’s authority — as established in the US Constitution that you are sworn to defend — by supporting the War Powers Resolutions introduced by Senator Tim Kaine, Representative Thomas Massie and Representative Ro Khanna.
