It's the elephant in the room, but really the lion in our nightmares. You must pass a bill or act that discontinues any use of misleading titles for Bill s or acts such as "the big beautiful bill" or the "clean continuing resolution". These only spread misinformation further. Most of the population does not understand legal jargon and likely doesn't spend too much time reading through the legal documents that might jeopardize our future. With Russian bots on the rise on popular social media through Meta, this even makes it easier for them to use our own loop holes against us, to spread ha te and division. If companies can be sued and lose over misinformation within advertising and marketing, why can't we sue the government for doing the same? If they can use the uneducated against us, cut the power sources. I appreciate you holding the line regarding healthcare costs, if I had to pay $1000 outta my monthly paycheck right now, well with rent, electricity, foo d, and prescriptions, I wouldn't have much to my name after. We're trying to buy a house to save on rent, but even then they expect us to have a 100,000 down payment for a small 3 bedroom house. Or else we have to pay Illinois mortgage insurance which adds on another $300 every month. We need a lot of changes to what happened this year. This cannot continue as the status quo.
