Continue funding for PEPFAR and the Global Fund! A reduction in funding will lead to countless deaths worldwide. This funding has saved nearly 100 million lives and the cost is dollars per year per US taxpayer — minuscule compared to the US budget. This is well worth the cost because all human lives are worthwhile, and at this cost it is a bargain. Furthermore, lives saved overseas translates to American lives saved- pathogens don’t respect borders. When it comes to global health, no one is safe until everyone is safe. Please ensure that PEPFAR and the Global Fund receive at least $2 billion in the federal budget. Thank you for saving lives.
