Fauci writes that he told Trump directly not to downplay the virus, and warned him it would look like a cover up if things went bad. He also called him "an idiot" and "a true embarrassment." Trump downplayed it anyway. For months. On camera. While people died. Anthony Fauci calling DJT an idiot is just proof he's not a liar.
