35-Cent for a dozen Eggs? When Will You Confront the Delusion?

It’s time to stop pretending this is normal. President Trump recently claimed that egg prices have dropped 93–94% since he took office. Simple math proves otherwise. In January 2025, a dozen eggs cost $4.95. A 93% drop would make them $0.35 today. But across the country, families are still paying $5–$6 per dozen. So where, exactly, are these mythical eggs? The answer is nowhere—because like so much else under this administration, it’s fiction packaged as policy. And this isn’t just about eggs. This is the same president who told us he weighs 239 pounds and is in “perfect health” while struggling to walk a ramp or string together a coherent sentence. The same man who claims to be saving the economy while Americans are drowning in debt, inflation, and job insecurity. So we ask you, members of Congress: When are you going to address the obvious? This is not strategic messaging—it’s delusion. This is not leadership—it’s ego-fueled theater. And your job isn’t to stroke his ego every time he confuses fantasy with fact. You were elected to serve the people, not enable a man who lies about groceries and his own medical records in the same breath. We deserve better. You know it. And history will remember what you did—or didn’t—do when it counted.
