Trump’s tariffs are simply the most grandiose form his abuse of power has taken to date.
His executive orders have already trampled the rule of law from day one.
They contain all his signature moves
1. A made-up “crisis” ( there is no national economic emergency)
2. A kiss the ring approach (making enemies of friends)
3. Bullshit demands ( tariff rates based on incoherent formulas)
America is a serious place with real ambitions.
Trump is tragically un-serious person.
Americans deserve better.
As our leaders in Congress, it is time for you to stand up.
Start challenging his authority.
Start with tariffs.
Start with unlawful snatching of protesters and immigrants.
Start with the impoundment.
Start with the dismantling of education.
Start with the disruption of health and safety.
Start and don’t stop. Don’t stop until America sees the rule of law restored.
