The corruption on display by our current president is an embarrassment for our country and needs to be taken seriously. Congress should see that his abuse of power for personal gain is not only a definitive case of “high crimes and misdemeanors” - it is harmful to the fabric of the country and degrades the rule of law. I encourage you to work with members of congress from both parties to hold this administration accountable for its corruption. Impeachment, of course, is the obvious mechanism. Only a small minority of the president’s party needs to be persuaded. It is worth the effort.
