Trump -Ego, Embarrassment, and Liability

To: Sen. Hughes, Rep. Moran, Sen. Cruz, Gov. Abbott, Lt. Gov. Patrick, Rep. Dean, Pres. Trump, Sen. Cornyn

When Trump’s name comes down, a tarp appears. When the reflecting pool starts peeling and growing algae, crews rush in to hide the mess. When another diplomatic embarrassment erupts because the president cannot resist making himself the center of attention, everyone is expected to pretend nothing happened. Trump reportedly claimed Italy’s prime minister begged for a photograph. She publicly rejected the claim, and the fallout became another international embarrassment for the United States started by Trump’s ego. The reflecting pool may be the most honest thing in Washington. It reflects exactly what Americans see: decay hidden behind appearances, problems covered instead of solved, and a leadership crisis nobody wants to address. No tarp can hide a failing record. No public relations team can restore lost credibility. No amount of self promotion can manufacture respect. Congress, remove the tarp and remove the old fool causing the problem. America deserves leadership, not endless embarrassment. Do your damn job!
