I beg you, do everything in their power to oppose and resist the numerous vile assertions and directives aimed at transgender and LGBTQ+ people in Trump's various Executive Orders and official memos. I am not trans, but I am queer, married to a woman; and his actions are dangerous to all LGBTQ people. I spend every day worrying for my own well-being, my rights being threatened next, and for the lives of my trans friends. Consider actions like proposing or cosponsoring rights-affirming legislation to prevent denial of legal identification (passports), banning of gender affirming-care, and banning trans people from certain spaces, such as the military. Thank you.
