As the Senate debates a possible Continuing Resolution, I want to urge you to include language that would extend the hemp prohibition past the current November 12 deadline. I’ve personally experienced dramatic relief from hemp based beverages and products, and it would be deeply disappointing to lose access to them. A prohibition would be disastrous for small businesses, retailers, distributors and craft brewers, not to mention the millions of responsible adults who currently enjoy these products, like myself. Please add the hemp extension to the CR and let us all continue to work toward a regulatory solution that protects public health and allows our economy to grow.
