I am writing to emphatically state that representatives must have legislation precisely written and ready to present on day one when Democrats take back Congress. This absolutely cannot be a time when the democratic party again makes the error of believing that everything can go "back to normal". Normal is GONE. No rmal is not coming back. Our nation must change significantly to curb the unrestrained criminal powers of the executive and judicial branches. Their complacent corruption and criminal greed must be eliminated through the decisive and demonstrated use of full-on congressional power. Immediately passing these laws at that time are not optional. And I understand many will lfeel uncomfortable as they flex their long-atrophied muscles of power. This cannot dissuade these mandatory efforts. The future of this nation relies not on expressing frowning concern and voicing repeated requests to be more reasonable. This moment instead requires people who must have the guts to completely revamp the weaknesses that have been exploited by the opportunistic criminals wh o have been elected and appointed to office. We are counting on you.
