If the SAVE ACT is passed, that will disenfranchise millions of voters.
The requirements are ridiculous as we already have to provide state identification/ drivers license to vote.
The requirements for state ID/drivers license are similar to those required to vote.
If the Save Act is passed into law, will the documents needed be provided at no cost to voters? Passports are approximately $165, states charge approximately $30 for a drivers license. With the economy the way it is people cannot afford those extra costs.
Who is to say that if a person applies for a passport, that The Secretary of State will deny or hold up the process?
This law would infringe upon the right to vote and therefore is unconstitutional.
