Co-sponsor and vote yes on Senator Sanders' American AI Sovereign Wealth Fund Act. AI is being built on the collective knowledge of humanity, and right now the returns are flowing almost entirely to a handful of billionaires like Elon Musk and Sam Altman. That has to change. The Alaska Permanent Fund already proves this model works — the state invests shared resource revenue and cuts checks directly to residents, $1,000 per person in 2025 alone. AI is no different from oil in that sense. It's a product of our shared knowledge, our data, our labor. Requiring large AI companies to transfer 50% of their equity into a public fund means ordinary Americans get a stake in what they helped build, instead of just absorbing the costs through higher bills and lost jobs. This isn't a radical idea. Sam Altman, Anthropic, and even Elon Musk have floated versions of public AI wealth funds. The political will exists across the spectrum. What's missing is the courage to act on it. Support this bill.
