There seems to be a wide variability of “truth” in this Iran <insert word here>. tRump and MOST of his minions call it a war. Some of his acolytes diligently AVOID the word. International coverage varies with some saying Iran asked for a cease fire and tRump refused, and others having it reversed. There doesn’t even seem to be consensus as to the precipitating event(s): was an Iranian attack imminent or not? And news sources seem to be biased as well. US outlets seem to prefer the tRump party line that America had to attack Iran before it could retaliate for an ISRAELI attack on Iran. Foreign sources indicate that America may have encouraged Israel to attack Iran to provide coverage for a US engagement. I don’t know WHO is telling the truth. I’d like to think America is NOT the aggressor. I’d like to think tRump is telling the truth. And that last sentence got stuck in my throat. tRump has PROVEN that his word cannot be believed. He lies like most humans breathe. And his administration is left busy cleaning up trying to seem to be on the same page as the President - like the way they are all scrambling right now to attempt to sound supportive of tRump’s “reality”. Comparing International news sources to domestics is like comparing CNN to FauxNews to get the real scoop on tRump. I am a born and bred 70+ year old American trained to believe America. But tRump has demonstrated his preference for a convenient “story” like a 4 year old child so I have a parent’s knowledge that he MIGHT be constructing his version. “America - Right or Wrong” began to die in 2016 and continues a death spiral under tRump. I don’t know who to believe, but I’m aware of who I can’t trust. Who do you believe?
