This Trump regime and its Republican allies are failing to govern effectively at home, yet now seek to interfere in the affairs of another sovereign nation. The American people did not authorize our government to decide who governs Venezuela or to obstruct its political transition. Venezuela’s future belongs to Venezuelans, including leaders recognized by many as chosen through legitimate democratic processes, not to Donald Trump, Washington politicians, or corporate interests. We oppose the use of American taxpayer money, whether through loans, guarantees, or other mechanisms, to benefit oil companies or to manage Venezuela’s infrastructure. Public funds should not be diverted to foreign energy interests while people in the United States struggle to afford food, housing, and healthcare. Stop attempting to run another country. Fulfill the responsibility you were elected to carry out here at home. Remove Donald Trump from power, release the full truth regarding the Epstein files, and direct federal resources toward healthcare for all Americans.
