A live streamed execution is a disgusting show of cruelty and dehumanization that should not be allowed. Personally i think that the death penalty should be outlawed altogether, but allowing the process to be livestreamed is sick and just perpetuates violence. Not to mention that this footage will inevitably be recorded and spliced into videos directed at children and will cause unneeded trauma and fear among our most vulnerable populations, and that’s excluding people who are sensitive to that kind of content as well (people with ptsd, trauma, or other mental health issues). Please, i urge you to stand against this drastic abuse of power. Find some way to block this. Don’t allow the cruelty to prevail!
