The torture inflicted upon Tariq Dawoud's family is a flagrant violation of human rights and international law. The arbitrary arrests, physical and psychological abuse, and home demolitions carried out by Israel forces are unconscionable acts that must be condemned in the strongest terms. Such cruel and inhumane practices against civilians cannot be tolerated under any circumstances. In light of these egregious human rights abuses, as well as Israel's ongoing occupation and military campaigns that have caused immense suffering for the Palestinian people, it is imperative that decisive action be taken. An immediate and comprehensive arms embargo should be imposed on Israel to prevent further aggression and atrocities enabled by the flow of weapons and military aid. Concrete measures must be taken to hold Israel accountable for its actions and to promote a just resolution to the conflict that respects the rights and dignity of all people.
