Those who have succeeded financially in this country and who are much more prosperous than the average American have more money to invest in lobbying and political donations. Those in that group who are, in fact, super-rich and who use in this way portions of money which are relatively small to them, but are relatively immense to the rest of us (to the point that we could not raise that much money if we tried) exert a demonstrably disproportionate influence on lawmakers and on the other branches of government. It seems simply foolish to the kind of successful politician who joins Congress, a Presidential Administration, or the Courts now to say no to that money, and in fact the super-rich who want this outsized influence in government BANK on that. This, and NOTHING ELSE MORALLY, explains why a domestic threat is not called a domestic threat, and why the Federal oath is not an actual imperative to remove such a threat. It's not a threat to Big Business and "Corporate Personhood," and they've in fact spent many Free $peech tokens (huge amounts of money) to keep you from taking action against Clear and Present Dangers. This makes the CITIZENS UNITED decision itself such a Danger, and you must overturn it, or else Big Business has bought our government and is now using it for purposes other than Government of/by/for the People. If you can refute this, I would love to know how you refute it. If not, please take a long, careful look at your inaction, but not TOO long, because it's ruining us, in the name of corporate personhood and money as free speech.
