I BEG you to use Tuesday’s Joint Session of Congress as an opportunity to grab the attention of the American people and show them that Trump & Musk’s authoritarian takeover of our government is NOT normal and NOT acceptable. This is a national emergency. We are quickly descending into authoritarianism It’s time to take bold action. It is self-defeating and sends the wrong message if Democrats continue calling Trump, Musk, & the Republican Party an existential threat and yet still attend tomorrow’s speech. Some say all Democrats should boycott. I think it would be even more effective for Democrats to show up (so the GOP can’t fill their seats), but when the fascist felon begins speaking, all Democrats file out en masse. PLEASE do not fail us in this moment. USE the power you have. PLEASE.
