Congress has introduced Senate Joint Resolution 112 to prohibit further U.S. arms transfers and military financing to Israel while it continues its unrelenting oppression of Palestinians. This unjust military occupation denies Palestinians their fundamental human rights, subjecting them to violence, home demolitions, and illegal settlement expansion. By enabling this oppression through arms sales, the U.S. is complicit in violating international law and eroding chances for a just peace. Realigning U.S. policy to restrict military aid until Israel respects Palestinian rights and complies with international law is a moral imperative that will advance human rights and stability in the region.
