Dear President Biden, Senator Warnock, and Senator Ossoff,
I am writing to urge President Biden to sign H.R.3967, the Honoring our PACT Act of 2022, into law before the conclusion of his presidency on January 20, 2025. This bill, already passed by the House and Senate, is the final step in securing critical healthcare and benefits for the veterans who have sacrificed so much for our nation. Signing this bill into law would stand as a lasting testament to our collective commitment to those who have borne the battle.
Mr. President, as your term comes to an honorable close, I humbly ask you to make this your defining final act—a legacy of unwavering support for our veterans. This legislation addresses the long-overdue needs of those who were exposed to toxic substances during their service. By signing it into law, you would solidify our nation’s promise to care for those who have risked everything for our freedoms.
Our veterans deserve more than words of gratitude; they deserve action. The PACT Act ensures that veterans and their families are not left to navigate the complexities of care alone. It streamlines access to healthcare, establishes presumptions for toxic exposure-related conditions, and provides essential support to survivors. This is the dignity and respect our heroes have earned.
President Biden, your dedication to this country over the past four years has been marked by honor, professionalism, and integrity. While opinions may differ, your leadership has exemplified a commitment to serving the American people. By signing this bill into law, you will leave an indelible mark of compassion and justice for our veterans.
Thank you, Mr. President, for considering this vital action. And to Senators Warnock and Ossoff, thank you for your continued advocacy on behalf of Georgia’s veterans and your commitment to supporting this critical legislation.
With deepest respect and gratitude,
