This week DHS funding is on the line. We the People do NOT support the funding of ICE in particular. We need immigration reform. The other thing that needs consideration is,IF the end game is deporting all people of color then why are We seeing and hearing about warehouses and office space being bought up across 50 states by ICE. The People are working diligently while Congress sets on their hands. The People are shutting down these warehouse purchases. The amount of money budgeted for DHS/ICE/CBP is larger than any police force. Some of that budget should be put into cities and states for their police departments that are struggling. DHS/ICE/CBP is not keeping AMERICANS and their guests safe at all, rather putting more and more people in harms way. This department has shown its inability to successfully implement a budget and retain controls over that budget to be rolled out the way Congress has put into law. DHS needs to be dissected and ICE operations and priorities need to cease immediately. Perhaps a special committee to make sure that DHS is doing what it was originally intended, to keep Americans and their guests safe.
