The United States, sends approximately $3.8 billion in aid to Israel every year. This is not just a staggering amount of money; it's a direct contribution to a government that continues to violate human rights and international law, as reported by credible organizations like the United Nations, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and even Israeli organizations; B’Tselem, Association for Civil Rights in Israel, Gisha, and more.
The Israeli government's actions have been repeatedly condemned on an international level for their aggressive policies and practices towards Palestinians, Bedouins, and Ethiopian Jews. Despite these condemnations, our tax dollars continue to support these actions.
This is not about choosing sides in a complex geopolitical conflict; this is about standing up for basic human rights and international law.
