Under federal law (18 U.S.C. 597 & 52 U.S.C. 10307(c)) offering an expenditure to induce someone to vote, refrain from voting, or vote for a specific candidate carries penalties including fines and up to 5 years imprisonment. You MUST get in the faces of your republican colleagues in congress and recite this law to them. Or, tell them we will find Democratic aligned multimillionaires to fund the very same bribery scheme and advertise this to the public. Do something. Do it now.
