I urge you to call for the immediate removal of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services. This weekend he again spread medical misinformation while serving as America’s top health official: • Repeated the false claim that vaccines cause autism. • Suggested Tylenol causes autism without scientific evidence. • Claimed RSV was created through laboratory manipulation, even though RSV was first identified in 1956. • Repeated unsupported claims about Lyme disease, despite evidence that Lyme infected humans at least 5,300 years ago, with Lyme DNA found in Ötzi the Iceman, and related bacteria existing millions of years before humans. Republicans say they want to restore Americans’ trust in government. Instead, the Trump administration has placed an HHS Secretary in one of the nation’s most important scientific positions who repeatedly promotes claims that conflict with established medical evidence. Every appearance erodes public confidence and damages America’s credibility. Silence is complicity. I ask you to publicly call for Mr. Kennedy’s removal, demand leadership at HHS grounded in science and evidence, and put the health of the American people ahead of political loyalty. The American people deserve better. Your constituents deserve better. History will remember whether you defended science or enabled misinformation to please one man while America was being destroyed.
