Congress must uphold and protect the Department of Education's role in ensuring equitable access to quality education for all students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Eliminating the department without proper legislative process would undermine the fundamental right to education and disproportionately harm vulnerable student populations relying on federal funding programs. The Department of Education protects vulnerable students and guarantees their rights to a free and fair education. Any efforts towards dissolution require full Congressional consideration to safeguard the educational rights and interests of America's youth.
