I am angry and shocked and gutted that my tax money is going to support that atrocious El Salvador prison to the tune of 6 million dollars. That makes me feel like I am partially to blame for the torture and deaths of those people. As a Christian I absolutely cannot accept this. It is like paying for the concentration camps and gas chambers in Nazi Germany. Please do everything in your power to cut funding for El Salvador/ these despicable crimes against humanity. I feel so strongly about this I am considering my options as far as not paying taxes/ tax strike, or leaving the country- as a doctor there are a lot of countries that would be happy to have me that aren't terrorist nations like the US.
