congress Stop the abuses by ICE and CBP. These organizations are now using a new App, Mobile Certify, and racially- or politically- profile their victims to subject them to Face Recognition Technology without their consent. This has a chilling effect by adding another risk factor to political demonstration and free speech. Furthermore, at no point in time do these organizations deal with the possibility of the Facial Recognition software to make a mistake and misidentify an otherwise documented individual as a removable individual. They are assuming whatever this fallible technology says is correct, and purposely ignoring any evidence to the contrary if it makes a mistake, potentially putting legal residents or citizen at risk. Photographs collected by this application will also be kept for a long time, 15 years, which could lead to the misuse of biometric information by organizations that have demonstrated to be inching closer to the Gestapo by the minute.
