There will be no return to "normal", no reinstating of the status quo, because all of that is exactly what paved our way to this moment right now. Going back means repeating the same selfish, short sighted, bigoted mistakes that we have been making since the founding of this country. For too long the rights, freedoms, and privileges that America loves to boast about have only been accessible, or even allowed, to white men of certain status. The promise of the American dream is built on the backs of those to whom it is denied. Enough is enough. We want better for ALL AMERICANS.
