A Call to Accountability: Defending Democracy and the People You Serve
To those entrusted with representing the American people,
You took an oath—not to a man, not to a party, but to the Constitution of the United States. That oath demands that you uphold democracy, protect the vulnerable, and defend this nation against threats, both foreign and domestic. Yet, what we are witnessing is not leadership, but complicity.
The reckless destruction of government institutions, the gutting of essential programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and SNAP, and the blatant dismantling of ethical oversight are not the actions of a government "for the people." They are the calculated maneuvers of an administration beholden to oligarchs, corporations, and self-interest. These are not the priorities of the American people—these are the priorities of those who seek to profit from division, suffering, and authoritarian control. Write
