Please use the powers of your office to publicize the costs of destroying American state capacity and the ongoing looting by the administration on behalf of the its cronies. The pattern is clear: _ undermine American capabilities in the name of “efficiency" _ announce layoffs without forethought _ pre-announce illusory savings _ re-hire some people after making their jobs more impossible _ siphon off American taxpayer dollars by awarding contracts to cronies. Congress controls the power of the purse. As the opposition party, you must hold the majority party accountable for their dereliction of duty. Daily. Hourly. By the minute. Until it stops.
