I urge you to reject the nomination of Kash Patel as Director of the FBI. As a former top aide to President Trump, Patel played a key role in spreading false claims about the 2020 election being "stolen" and undermining faith in our democracy. Confirming someone with such a concerning record of eroding democratic norms and fueling the Big Lie would be a dangerous step for the leadership of a critical law enforcement agency tasked with upholding the rule of law. We need an FBI Director committed to impartiality and election integrity, not a partisan actor willing to subvert these principles for political gain. Patel's actions related to undermining the 2020 election make him unfit to lead the FBI, and I implore you to vote against his nomination.
