I am writing to urge you to vote against any additional funding for ICE. Recent events in Minneapolis, including the killing of Alex Pretti, have been heartbreaking and terrifying, and they underscore the real human cost of aggressive enforcement practices. Communities deserve safety, accountability, and care—not further militarization or unchecked power. I ask you to oppose any legislation that expands ICE’s budget and instead support policies that prioritize human rights and community well-being. Please do the right thing.
