Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) – A pattern of governance in which decisions, policies, and executive actions are driven primarily by personal ego, political grievance, or image management rather than evidence, institutional norms, or public interest. Manifestations include:
• Prioritizing self-aggrandizement over national priorities, including putting his name on public property and monuments.
• Undermining independent oversight and firing career officials to consolidate loyalty.
• Politicizing or dismantling agencies and programs that contradict personal or partisan objectives.
• Disregarding established rules, checks, and balances, including ignoring Congress, courts, or civil service procedures.
• Implementing policies based on personal vendettas, symbolism, or theatrics rather than rational public policy.
• Creating systemic chaos, confusion, or institutional erosion, leaving recovery to successors.
In essence, TDS in governance describes a presidency conducted in the service of ego and loyalty tests rather than the Constitution, law, or the common good.
It is still the Gulf of Mexico.
It is still the Department of Defense.
It is still the Kennedy Center.
And we still want the FULL Epstein files.
